i'm not so sure.

knowing something is pretty subjective,
i'm sure you're not asking him what colour this blue pen is?

though some of it to be honest, is dishonesty, not wanting to hurt your feelings or maybe even a little trying to escape from the consequences of upsetting you.

its just how people are.

on mens side we think women blow things completly out of proportion,
men hate drama
a man will decide that something doesn't matter, which is understandably annoying when its something you do care about.

i don't actually believe in generalising this much,
all that men are from mars women are from venus stuff is a bit silly, but for the sake of the topic, why not.

Why is it that, for the most part guys are the ones that do this, when you ask a guy a direct question (like a yes/no question)that they will answer either "I don't know" or "I don't care"?

The majority of men I know always reply with those.
They just dont like to commit to anything
I've got to admit I do it myself tho
