injured blue day

I have an injured blue jay and cannot get at him. He is trying to pick up shelled peanuts from my front yard, he cannot close his beak..........it is open all the time, plus he cannot fly very well at all.

any suggestions?


I know he won't last long, even the squirrels are coming up right beside him!

Animal hospital?

If you take it to an animal hospital, they will put it down for you. Sounds like that's the best option for him.
