How far the dawn of that great day,
When the toils of life are done:
Those awesome months of waiting
Through the dark to see the Son.

Each day seems never ending,
As it sheds it's fleeting light,
Yet in passing never shortens,
Nor brings me closer to the Light.

That tunnel still is endless,
Though daylight flickers there:
It's well-worn paths must still be trod,
With only me to care.

But one day in the future,
With luck I'll reach that goal:
Where the sun and skies are always bright,
And there's Peace within my Soul

Thanks for your comments/song. Actually I only put that in there as a starter. I'm far more into creative writing. I'm in the process of writing my first full-length sci-fi novel, and also a book on people's personal testimonies. I'll not use this site for Bible-punching purposes lest I break the rules somewhere along the line and get myself barred! However I will go as far as to say I am a born-again Christian, and practising Methodist. I meet up with a group of lay preachers every Thursday lunchtime down by the Tower of London in ithe City where I work, where we try to spread the Word.
