I'm gonna sound like a complete athiest here but anyway...

I hate it when Christians (I've never talked to someone from another religion who actually does this, but I'm sure there are people) go on at me about how God will help with my problems, protect me and whatever. It's not that I don't think that people should be free to practise their religion anywhere whebever they want, but I find it kind of insulting that they don't stop and think about what I might think of them preaching their God to me. I have oppinions too, and all it feels like is happening is that someone is simply discounting what I believe in place of what they think is true. It's not so bad when someone says something like "I will pray for you" or something, but I really, really hate it when a Christian goes on and on telling me about how God created things. I KNOW the creation story! I've taken a Religious Education class and I KNOW that you believe God created everything, I don't need you telling me again!

Anyway, I've probably upset quite a lot of people, but this is just a view of mine, and it's not directed at Christianity in particular or at most people who follow a religion. It's just that if I make a speech about how God does not exist I know I'll be yelled at, but I don't see why people have to tell me that God exists, whether I believe or not.

It's just another view. You can't impose belief in a relegion on anyone. The
middle ages prove that. So do the Islamic wars and the Cruisades.
javascript:emoticon('',document.postform.message);
But of course, history repeats itself. Cos people never get enough.

However, when someone tells me that he/she will include me in their prayer, I
feel blessed! Unless they're sarcastic. Then let them go to hell!

I think someone offering up a prayer is sweet, but I can't stand being preached at.
