yeah i've done the throwing up bile thing before, not nice, you should really try to eat something just because if you throw up then your not bringing bile up but the contents of your stomach

Sounds nasty, but it could be worse, could be crapping yourself at the same time.

try to just suck ice, if you keep filling your stomach with water it will hurl, sip water and suck an ice pop. Suprisingly enough the body can rehydrate through the tongue if the stomach wont accept fluid.

Also if you can, take a shower. Hope you feel better soon.

Ick thats yuck. I've had my fair share of food poisoning and it's got to be (IMO) the worst thing, well, if not a stomach flu. Hope you feel better soon

I know what its like... the worst part is gasping for breathe after throwing up the bile... it kinda burns the back of ur nose and gives the worst taste in the world !!!!!! i once had some kind of bug... it caused very bad stomach pains, literally, couldent move from the back laying position coz it hurt so much... stomach ache would clear and i'd feel better then suddenly a slap round the face of sudden overwhelming nausia i hated the feeling thn my mum said the only thing she cud think of is if i pt my finger 2 the back of my mouth - this worked and i puked then felt better... the process kept occouring in a cycle for about 2/3 days and gradually dissapeared. Worst 3 days of my life i felt - BUT I DID MISS SCHOOL DAYS... i suppose thats a plus and a minus depending on how you look at it

Hi, are you feeling better now? because as a student nurse, I know food posioning isn't very good on the body, try and drink plenty of water.

its important you dont eat anything for at least 24 hours and give yourself an hour after the last episode of vomiting. try sucking an ice pop or smack up some ice cubes and make them into ice chips then the water will get absorbed through your mouth but not hit your tummy and make you throw it up. if you cant keep anything down and you continue with the green bile you need to get in touch your your out of hours gp and get some more help
