Look at the "Why is it that" thread.

The "Active Topics" section is consistently behind "New Topics" on post counts.

In slightly related news, the "unread posts" icon is frequently displayed under "New Topics" even after the posts are all read.

All I can say is that it's a feature, not a bug. Now just give me a few minutes to work out what that feature is.

i think its from a book,
trilby.
great book, but maybe the guys name in it was based on an older word
