How do I accept friend requests?

Hey guys. I'm new at this so forgive me for asking.
I got a friend request and I cannot find an icon or whatever to accept the request. Any tips would be great.

just click on friend request and it will open and click accept

Yeah I got yours shells no worries. But there was another one that had different settings and was hard to find out how to accept it. And now it appears to be gone!

When you get a friend request it shows in two places: the notification link on the left, and in a PM.

Which one did you pick?

Either way, you can view all requests and accept or deny them here: Friends > Edit > Accept/Deny requests
