Playing Guitar

I am 56 years old. I have been playing guitar (and drums) for 30 years.
But up until recently, I only played rhythm guitar because I couldn't afford lessons and I thought that I could never learn to play lead guitar.
Internet to the rescue.
Then about 7 months ago, I found out that there were tons of HOW TO videos on sites like Youtube.
And since I love the blues, that's the direction I went. I picked it up much faster than I thought I would. Now, 7 months later, I have numerous guitar backing tracks loaded into my mp3 player, and I run that through my amp and play lead to the songs. I have also make a few multi-track recordings of myself playing.
I'm having a blast, and I'm still learning all the time.

Get a new teacher.

I think i'm addicted to playing guitar. its all i think about while i'm at school, and pretty much all i do when i get home...
