I was always given the impression that the people in the UK were very sexual from either TV or others..

hmmmmm the average english guy drinks too much, his pants show the crack of his arse and a romantic night out is a night at the pub with his mates then on for a curry and then drive them all home The idea of sex gets lost along the way when the tummy is full of beer and curry

thats the "average" guy of course

the following is what i would say is a "stereotypical" person of a certain nationality (of course, you cant generalise when you have a large group of people)

australians - laid-back, sun-worshipping and sporty
canadians - tough, liberal, warm-hearted
americans - naive, very friendly, very outgoing
irish - warm, friendly and laid-back
scottish - friendly, outdoorsy and very tolerant
english - warm, friendly, very tolerant
french - very liberal, cosmopolitan and amicable
dutch - very liberal, easy going
german - outgoing, sporty, slightly sex-obsessed
swedish - direct, very liberal and accepting
spanish - passionate, friendly, sporty
chinese - warm, intelligent, calm
japanese - bit introverted but very friendly
greeks - cultured, friendly and outgoing
indians - well-spoken, spiritual, friendly
new zealanders - sporty, warm, liberal
