Firefighters in Greater Manchester (That's really Lancashire 
) are facing disciplinary action over claims they slept on a station floor instead of their new reclining chairs.
Three men, based in Bury, are being investigated for "involvement in the use of unauthorised rest facilities".
It is claimed they broke regulations by using sleeping bags on the floor rather than the ?400 chairs.

"Unauthorised rest facilities" - they were sleeping on the floor! Good grief, what jumped up, common sense free idiot decided to press this action? Does the inspector's job depend on finding this sort of thing?
"A full internal investigation into this matter is under way and no further comment can be made at this time," a spokesman said.
