yesterday i walked 2 my friends house 2 go and play tennis, i was told it was a 2 minute walk but i found out it was about five bloody miles. when i was on my way home i felt like my hip was grindingt against something and im really worried about what is wrong because i am still in total agony over it and can barely even move my leg and hardly walk, im not sure whether to go to a and e or just leave it for 2day to see if it settles down at all, i need some advice and opinions from others on this one. please!!!!!!

your 15, i'm sure you will get over it and get a new career, or would you rather not walk for the rest of your life? rugby Vs walking if its that painful go see a doctor and rest up for a bit

PLease go have it checked. If you were my kid I'd want to make sure that you don't have a slipped femoral epiphysis. It's more common in fat kids but also can occur in tall thin ones, particularly if you have any history of trauma to that hip in the past. Since you mentioned playing rugby, you might just want to think about having it examined.
