Cat found with arrow stuck in its back rescued YAY!!!

NEYAGAWA, Osaka -- A white cat found with an arrow stuck in its back has been rescued, police said.

Suspecting that someone fired the arrow at the animal, police are searching for the culprit in a bid to arrest him for violating the Law concerning the Protection and Control of Animals.

At about 7:50 a.m. on Thursday, local police received a report that a white cat with a black arrow stuck in its back was walking in the Kamikamida district of Neyagawa. Police officers and firefighters attempted to capture it using a net, but the cat escaped.

At around 9:35 p.m., the cat was found in a cage that had been placed on the premises of a home in the neighborhood. By that time, the 16-centimeter-long arrow had fallen out.

Some five-centimeters of the arrow had been stuck in the cat's back but it did not bleed, police said.

Local residents said the alley cat had been spotted walking in the neighborhood with the arrow stuck in its back over the past few days. (Mainichi)

Why the hell didn't they do anything for several days if they saw a cat with a fricken arrow in its back?

They could not just catch it. The cat was clever enough and escaped. maybe it liked the arrow or was scared of humans because it's one or more of them who had shot the arrow @ it.

no my point is they caught it on the same day they were told but people had seen it for several days and not told them about it...

may be they were just hunting for cats. they might have been from china. you know how those people from china eat cats and dogs. it just makes me sick thinking about asians eating cats or dogs. it is so wrong. they should but they must be killed for eating cats.
