American Idol Must Change The Voting System!

No longer will it be practical to let the whole USA vote when voting on the contestants on American Idol can be manipulated.
They are going to have to let the studio audience do the voting like some other shows have done in the past.
To prevent embarrasment this year, they are going to have to go mafia on Sanjayas and then change the system next year. What yaw think?

They're still seriously making seasons of it?!


ummm I dont see whats wrong with the voting system. There's nothing stopping hte studio audience from voting

I think now since people are fooking around with the system something has to be done and it's a shame that people can't give a respected vote instead some sabotage a good show for fun.

Sanjaya is just taking spots away from the people who really do deserve to win this thing! I mean he's a decent singer but there are a lot more who are wayyy better!

Myspace. It's suprisingly good. Im in a band, but we dont even do gigs anymore, we kinda got distracted by the rock n roll lifestyle before we got to the music part.

Everyone knows people hate Sanjaya and that's why they're voting for him. To piss everyone off. It's ridiculous, but people are like that.

I think that American Idol is currently pulling in the highest ratings and the largest number of votes in its already impressive history.

I don't think Idol needs to think about changing *anything*. They've managed to, beyond all belief, get the Howard Stern crowd tuning in religiously while retaining their entire traditional demographic.

They're doing *better* now because of the controversy than they ever have.
