Faith which evolves from the already present knowledge of the reality of the principles which the mythology represent is not an excuse not to learn.

mythology evolved from the lack of knowledge and man's need (or desire) to explain the unknown.

and when man leans on faith to explain the unknown, it becomes and excuse not to seek the truth.

faith becomes a false belief that there is a complete set of principles that are known.

That's only true for some people. As I've learned, the more I know I don't know. The more I learn I realize that there is so much more to learn. As I walk in the principles that I have faith that are true either my faith is validated or is redirected as my knowledge is increased. Faith shouldn't be an excuse not to learn or act. It should be a reason to do so. Faith should be substantive and is substantive in that people act on what they believe whether they realize it or not. The choice for inaction is also a passive reaction to what one believes.
