Master Status-At what age. Need Help with Essay Question

Hey guys,

I need help with this for a sociology paper for a final. I need other's opinions.

At 18 years old, what do you think is your master status and why, be prerpared to defend your decision.

This question has stumped me so far, my opinion is age, when your eighteen everything that you do in society is determined by this, bank acccounts, credit cards, bank loans, and everything else.

What do you guys think? Plz Help.

A person's master status is a status that dominates all other status' when determining their place in society.

The status' that I'm working with are
-age-18
-gender-male
race-white

Which one is most important in society today and for what reasons?
