Mirror Mirror

Tear me down
What do you see?
Do you see the pain?
Do you see the hate?
What about the shame?
The ignorance of fate?
Do you see me naked?
Or can you see right through me?
Or can you find, what lies behind
Or spiteful, bitter, "Just sue me"
Can you see the angst?
Do you see the vain?
What about the mirror?
Or maybe you see nothing?

Well, I can stand here
Torn down
And what you decide to see
Is probably not anything, remotely resembling me
And while you try to examine everything I've failed
And while you try to analyze all that I've done
I'll look into a mirror, I'll tear myself down
And I'll examine and analyze and see
And I'll look into the mirror
And it's different
And it's something else
Something you can only see
When looking into a mirror
