MgSO4 + electrolosys= odd blue solution??? HELP!

Well, i was bored today. I took maybe about 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt, and about a tablespoon of water. I also took a 9V battery and did electroloysys, i saw bubbles coming out. Now after almost all the water is gone, part of the solution is blue..what is this blue liquid? And what kinda of gas were the bubbles before? Thanks
