How's your hockey team doing?

NHL 2006-2007 season started last night. Islanders play for the first time tonight. I will be up until 12:30 AM watching the game because I am dedicated First four games are all out west

Anywho, inspired by the baseball thread, how's your hockey team doing?

The Isles went 3-2 in the preseason, losing to Boston twice but finishing strong with three wins.

well calgary and edmonton my 2 fave teams are playing thir first game right now and its tied 0-0 in the middle of the first

Okay how could you possibly like both? I don't really care, but that's like me liking the Isles and the Rangers...it's just not common!

Islanders got the first goal 1:48 in but are down by 1 halfway through the first

They are 0-1 They lost 6-3 in the first game but they play again tonight so they better have their s*** together

and Calgary lost their game against them!

They just got shut out by the Sharks 2-0.

They played a good game though, especially 5-on-5. Just couldn't score. Sharks have a very good goalie.

They need to stop putting themselves a man down so often though. It's bothering me and putting them in a bad position. Both goals were on the PP and that needs to stop

They won last night in the shootout!

They better carry that momentum into the game on Saturday, because I'm going!
