what is the term for blotting words on microsoft word

theres a term for blocking words, ime not shure if its just on word, using a black box to block the word. i think it might be used to hide info like in the cia or somthing, and i know it starts with an r. if i could get the answer to this question, ide appreaciate it! thanks!

If you're referring to something like the SPIKE format - I only know it as 'fuzzing'.

But if it's a program, the only one I can think of is the regsvr32.exe - a program used to register (or unregister) dynamic-link libraries (DLLs) and ActiveX controls.
