Science Non-Fiction

We live in a time where there is a line between Fiction and Non fiction... but when will the line suddenly disappear in the Sci fi realm..

Scientists have found Anti matter, they have also transported a particle from one end of a lab to another.. There is Ion drives flying satalities.. AI is fact, cure for most deseases are going to happen in the next 10-20 years..

Science fiction is slowly crossing over in to science non-fiction...

Why? from the Star Trek to Logans Run sci fi fans have been the scientist and engineers amoung us.. they dream of these things the saw on last night star trek and make it...

We wouldnt have automatic doors.... if it werent for star trek.. or even anti matter discovery.. Prof Hawkins a massive star trek fan has formulae of how to break light speed.. (or is working on them).

I dont know about you.. but when i seee scotty beam up Kirk.. I think to myself..

Science has no limits..

Limits come from people with no imagination...

that would be cool

but horrid if it got jumbled like the fly

I do find it amazing that from someone's imagination can become reality through science.
I'd love to be transported in a second to different places in the world. No ned for cars, planes, trains, no pollution. Great.

We make progress all the time, but it's not until recently that we can actually appreciate the value of new discoveries. Thirty years ago few people had any idea that so many people would have their own computers by now. I think this new awareness will become useful in the future.
