I would like to help you but you are better off waiting for someone in IT to come online rather than have bad advice.

Here's what to do. Save everything that you want to have on a usb drive and
do a system restore to factory settings. I did this just yesterday after getting
a trojan when I checked out runescape to check out the new graphics they've
done to it.
I dont play the game but just wanted to see how good the graphics are and
when I tried to sign up and get online It told me it was only for members that
can play the graphical one. Then a trojan pop up came to the screen. I
already have everything saved on my usb drive and did a quick system
restore. What you can do is do the system restore that can take you back to
when you didnt have any viruses. I done the factory settings only because I
had other nic nacs I had on my computer that I had for a long time and
theres no time back where I didnt have it so I went with the factory restore.

45 gigs? what do you have on your computer?! Well you cant save things that
you downloaded onto a usb drive. I tried and the icon was white showing that it
does not work. All you can really do is save your music, photos, documents,
videos into your usb drive and thats it. You can download everything else once
your done with system restore. Try making a list on a notepad of all the things you
downloaded so you wont forget anything and start downloading them. If you have downloads
that you paid for then try saving those to the usb drive or do a test first by saving something
you downloaded and unplug it from your computer and then plug the usb drive back in and
see if you can still recieve the downloaded icon back onto your computer. But make sure you
do the copy and paste, always keep one on your computer just incase it does not work.

System restore doesnt always work, ad you shouldnt need to back up your personal s*** because it shouldnt affect it.

Those things are tricky, it is usually the program that you have to buy to get rid of it that put it there in the first place. I had a really f***ed up one and had to format the hard drive.
However that is a last resort!

I would say a system restore to sometime in mid June if you can is good advice. The key to trojan removal is to identify it... Try running Microsoft Removal Tool. It is a utility updated monthly that removes most virus or trojan infections.
