What? I value humans just as much as animal. They are both equally important to me. I don't see why animals have to be degraded...or regarded as lesser to human beings.

I agree in the fact that a human comes before an animal (in most, but not all circumstances)
But harmless animals should not be killed like that for no reason. If it was a dangerous dog, maybe. But cats? They don't harm anyone.
