In The Public Interest
The Corporate Supreme Court
By Ralph Nader
7-18-2011

Five Supreme Court Justices--Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, Alito and Kennedy are entrenching, in a whirlwind of judicial dictates, judicial legislating and sheer ideological judgments, a mega-corporate supremacy over the rights and remedies of individuals.

The artificial entity called "the corporation" has no mention in our Constitution whose preamble starts with "We the People," not "We the Corporation."

I tried to check with Tino once before on that. He did not respond back. But anyways- this was an e-mail to me from Nader. I think the whole issue was one of copyright infringement and then you are supposed to keep it to three sentences or less.
I don't think that applies here as Nader is sending this out for consumption and no copy right is being infringed upon.

Impeachment and Near Impeachment

Only one Supreme Court Justice, Samuel Chase (one of the signatories to the Declaration of Independence), has ever been impeached.

Maybe, but if so you'd need a crime committed. Simply disliking their rulings isn't good enough.
