"The Campaign"

Although they're both Republicans, if there were political sides being taken I couldn't tell it. it was mostly gross, silly and/or stupid over-the-top pointless humor--which some in the younger, largely 20-something audience thought was funny. The bad guys (Aykroyd and Lithgow) were capitalists selling the district to the Chinese (????). The ending was the movie's only saving grace. Overall, very weak and another Ferrell flop.
