Essentially all voters vote for their candidates because their candidate promised them something.

But OK, you are good with political corruption. Interesting.

So, you are griping about the voters who elected Theodore Roosevelt', Woodrow Wilson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson?

NO. I am griping about voters who pay the smallest portion/percentage to none of the gross income taxes taken in by the federal government and yet vote for candidates who promise to keep it that way. And this includes both/all three parties. (assuming you call the TEA party a party)

Oh... OK... I get that...

Of course I actually like our democratic system were all citizens of proper age have the right to vote any way they choose, but that's just me... born, raised and proud to be an American.

I wouldn't call the TEA party a political party. The members of the TEA party tend to be aligned with the Republican party, some are actually members of the Republican party, but the TEA party is not yet a viable political party in its own right. (Just my opinion.)

Didn't watch it. Mitt and the gang should be able to hide their money anywhere they want. It does belong to them doesn't it?

Yes. Those are the people I have a problem with. Those that vote for candidates who promise to keep them on the federal dole.

Everyone gets money from the federal dole. So you are talking about EVERY voter, including yourself IF you also vote.

Division was evident at their recent conference as well.
https://news.yahoo.com/rnc-showcased-while-losing-image-remains-142624936--election.html
"Following the recommendations in the Priebus-commissioned autopsy of the GOP's losing 2012 presidential campaign, the national party launched a multipronged strategy a year ago to reach out to younger voters, women and racial and ethnic minorities, groups who sided more heavily with Democrats, especially President Barack Obama.

Yet, awkward comments about contraception and women's reproductive systems and chatter over Michigan committeeman Dave Agema's derogatory comments about gays and Muslims obscured the party's attempt to feature its efforts at last week's meeting."

Yes, it is okay to hide your money after you paid taxes on it once.
