Hah. In reality, Disney has astonishingly strict requirements for employment and conduct. They are famous for being extremely selective (apparently they have many, many, many times the applicants necessary to fill jobs) as well as enormously strict on conduct and dress code. You can't even have visibly dyed hair, wear a watch if your costume doesn't dictate it (absolutely no Ironman watches when you're working at the Tower of Terror - they didn't exist in the time period), have long hair if you're male, etc. Touching your ears is considered long.

Oh, and they just recently started allowing men to have mustaches.... as long as you never show up for work with an in-progress 'stache. It needs to be fully grown by the time you show up, or while on vacation.

Did you just look this up now? Otherwise, why on earth would anybody just know the requirements to work at disneyland? That's so random.

They really are selling a story. They are extraordinarily good at it, too. Any place where a "cast member" is visible to the public is "on stage." They treat everything as a big ongoing play or movie. Their attention to detail is absolutely amazing, and it all works.

I love Disney World and Disneyland. I went there for 8 days earlier this year and did a fair bit of reading. Things like that just stick.

I had a friend that was studying zoology. Now in all it can be a very good course for someone wanting to go down that route, but the only reason my friend did it is because he didnt want to get a job,

Isn't that the real reason why so many people choose to become students thesedays

That was a single class, not a degree. And the class was about the sociology of fame - they apparently just tossed "Lady Gaga" in the course title for publicity and attention.

The article was wrong. For example:
https://www.monstersandcritics.com/people/news/article_1595225.php/US-university-offers-degree-on-Lady-Gaga

The article title says "degree" but in the text it's clear it's a single course.
