what is your obsession with emos? there are way more pressing and important issues in this world to worry about.. poverty, the war in the middle east, innocent people being slaughtered daily... just to name the minimum. so do us all a favour and get over yourself. focus on something with substance instead of stereotyping. you want to see tears? don't look to emos, go visit africa of iraq.

I'm actually watching it now and it's honsetly VERY sad. Not particularily funny
at all. People are just hating for the reason of hating now.
Why don't you actually try to see past what people wear and accept them as
PEOPLE (Thus, different from everyone else).
People can be what they want, or want to be. You can't stop that. You want to
hate all these emo kids, I can't stop that but honestly, what makes you feel
this way? if you just describe an emo kid to me, it's not really an answer.
People ARE WHO THEY ARE and if you don't like it, go f*** yourself. Because
I've had enough of your s***. I sit around and let you throw s*** at anything
that moves and you think your AMAZINGLY funny, two or three people agree
with you, yes, but insulting and sledging everyone whose not exactly like you
is going to get you nowhere.

And you wanna know whats sad about this movie? I've seen people do that.
drive around looking for emos to beat the s*** out of. Too many of my friends
have been emo bashed for looking different that it's ridiculous. I myself have
had people follow me around town ready to fight me because of the way I
look. This whole freaking thing is just s***. Emo is here and it's not going any
time soon. Maybe if you got to know some people who where associated as
Emo, you'd learn to pull your head from your arse.
Until then, you can get a life outside of your study and go and actually have a
life. Throwing s*** at emos isn't a life, it isn't a hobby, it's sad. It's demeaning
on your behalf and on their behalf that people can actually desecrate the
human race like this.

It is funny in general banter here and there. My best friends are as stereotypically emo as
they get and I laugh at them regularily for it. It's a great joke, but when people are actually
MEANING offence at it, then it gets out of hand.
Also, labeling is fine, it's the fact there are consequences to labeling that is causing the
problems. If you didn't get beaten up for being Emo, a good few people wouldn't care if they
got labelled anymore. If no one gave a f*** of what they were being called and just where
themselves, there wouldn't be any hassle.

Basically thats how I act. You can call me Emo, Punk, Prep (Note: I'm known as the grade's
'emo kid' and also 'prep boy') and thats great. People are spending time to think about me
and fitting me into their life under a label. People do that, it's how they remember people. At
the end of the day I'm all of them, and I'm Nathan. Thats all that matters
