1 Corinthians 1:18 - For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing... - All over the world there are Christians and all over the world there have always been people who regard the gospel as foolish, but the scriptures say we are foolish if we don't believe in God Psalm 14:1 - The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”... - They think this way because Earthly "wisdom" supports them, but the Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:7 - For we live by faith, not by sight. - Unbelievers like to point out that bad things continue to happen to believers, they usually don't know 1 Peter 4:12 - Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. - But why show them this? They wouldn't believe it anyway. All we can do is reach out to them with God's word and hope they have a change of heart and not regard it as foolishness.
