Ghosts: Scientific Phenomena or Voices from beyond the Grave.

I like to keep an open mind here, I personally believe in the existence of Ghosts/Spirits/The Unquiet Soul whatever you choose to call them. The reason for this is that both my Brother and myself have felt/heard a presence in my old house. I was once at home on my computer when there was a banging on my bedroom door, I called out for the person to come in and when they didn?t, believing it to be my brother messing around I went to open the door to have ago at him and it was only when I was half way across my room that it dawned on me my parents and my brother were currently out of the country on holiday. On another occasion my Brother was awoken from sleep by someone screaming in his ear and he was aware of presence in the room with him, however neither my parents nor myself heard a thing. On a third occasion I was woken from sleep and had the sensation of someone pushing on my chest and I had to physically push against my bed to allow me to sit up.

I am also able to look at such things with a sceptical mind as well such as a recent trip to Cornwall, myself and some friends whilst walking in a wood close to where we were staying came across a pentagram etched into the ground. The following evening around midnight we decided to go hiking in the wood again. I took along my digital camera and took random shots every so often; one such shot produced an interesting image (which I will include on my profile for you to look at), if you look close enough a ?face? can be seen in the image however with my own experiences with computers and the internet my first reaction would be ?that image was so created in photoshop?. I would be interested to hear peoples opinions and experiences.

I had a reading from a tarrot reader, aparently by now i should be living in a far off distant land married with 2 kids and happy... uh?? something wrong there, and for my trouble i had to pay ?10! babe its all a fake..

But back on topic, ghosts and the paranormal,its unexplain for a few reasons, i feel where not intelligent enough to understand what it real is, and the concept that ghosts are our dead selfs scares people into investigating properly, with out people girlie screaming...

I personally beleive in the 'paranormal' going-ons of the not yet departed

The only encounter I have ever had was when I was nine and still lived in England, I lived in a house that was built next to a group of garages. Two years before a teenage boy had been messing about on the roof and fell through and was found dead by the man who owned the garage. Anyway, that night when I was in my bed, I woke up early in the early hours of the morning and saw a teenage boy standing at the end of my bed...obviously I was s***ting bricks and didn't dare shout...all I could do was lie there until the light finally started coming into my bedroom

But that was my only 'encounter'...I really hope I don't have another one!

I totally believe in paranormal if you knew me well you'd know its all I talk about but i really don't believe in those readers sheesh their so stupid you are getting a reading or something they suck sorry cheerup it had to be said Hope i didn't insult you sorry

I love it when ppl say its all fake coz i kno the truth, and just coz of one person that uses Tarot to obviously make money i suppose it has to be fake
don't get me wrong there are alot of charlatons out there that just do it to make money and to play with peoples beliefs, just the same as there is with psychic mediums
but Tarot most definatly does work when used properly
Derek is better off away from Most Haunted as he does his best work when doing readings for ppl as Jas (cheerup) said he is not fake its just the situations he gets into make him look silly, live on stage however he is in his element it is where he belongs and where he looks most comfortable

and getting to the topic lol ghosts definatly exist and so does the spirit world we just have to be willing to accept it

I feel that, there is just to many reported sightings for them not be real. Every time I mention Religion it seems like I?m having ago at it so if I offend anyone I do apologise. But were expected to believe in a being which very few people have seen and for a long time was only documented in a couple of books, but if we believe in the paranormal, something which has had documented sightings for centuries we?re considered abnormal? Even most Christians refuse to believe in the existence of ghosts when one of the beliefs is in the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit/Ghost). Even though at times shows such Most Haunted and Dead Famous do push the boundaries of what can be believed (Dereks linking in with subterranean?s in the London underground top of my list here), I do agree with what they are trying to do a look forward to the time when we see a ghost on our TV screens and even though I?m sorry to say I would be S*****g myself I would love to visit some of the places such as the Clerkenwell House Of Detention.
