@Ratty Said

So where at the pro-trump gloaters at??? I come to this forum and it's about silence as a church mouse. Other forums are bouncing off of the walls.

LOL.

The reaction for those who voted for him this time is mostly relief. Too much damage has been done by 46 and VP for anyone to neener-neener. Ya'll were too deeply committed to the assassination of your political opponents and the jokes wore thin years ago. No one is laughing.

Back in April 2011, Mr Obama picked a fight with the Orange Man and didn't realize he couldn't finish the fight. 13 years later, Orange Man wins the popular vote against a machine-appointed politician.

I doubt anyone on social media (especially Reddit) ---or the three folks still lurking here-- will dare to examine their lives to find answers that got us here today. "How did we decide to demonize and attempt to destroy a man to this extent that he would win the electoral and popular vote?"

You can blame Obama and his media and his weaponized government for attacking the one guy who wouldn't back down, wouldn't be silenced, and wouldn't die.

Congratulations Mr Trump for winning this election. You have earned the trust of the American people!

Work out or me?

I'm disappointed (though not at all surprised) in both the Republican party and the USA as a whole, but life goes on. I expect we will survive.

Unlike Republicans literally every day for the last four years, you won't catch me crying...

...nor trying to disrupt the certification of the election results on January 6.

I wonder if you would want someone like Obama, Clinton, Biden, etc to get elected and to have immunity from prosecution...

Actually I don't wonder. That was more of a rhetorical comment.

In theory, at least on one level, the big losers out of the US election are Canada, the UK, France and Italy. These seem to be the preferred destination for all of those celebs who claimed they would leave the US if Trump won. Happily for those countries the celebs in question are full of it and won't be leaving. Bad news for the US but good news for the aforesaid countries.
