Big weekend for Charlie and Max who both snagged 6 goals. Charlie now leads the Coleman.

Those ex Hawthorn players making allegations against Clarko and Fagan should pursue the matter through the civil courts so both parties can have their say in a transparent process.

Just to be different though both Clarko and Fagan have already been assumed to be guilty until proven otherwise by so many in the mainstream media and on social media. This always is the case when those making the allegations are female or of a particular racial or ethnic group, and when the accused is a white male. Got to love the modern day trial by media. Way to go.

The 'gather round' is just one more example of how the AFL cares more about money than the integrity of the competition.

Great to hear that Tassie is now over the line. Should have had an AFL team before Gold Coast and Western Sydney.

Hawthorn and the ABC need to be held to account for the hatchet job they did on Clarko, Fagan and Jason Burt.

A disgrace it has gone on this long and Clarko, Fagan and Burt still haven't publicly been given the chance to tell their side/s of the story.

It was a dangerous farce from the beginning. You hire an activist group to see if there is/has been any form of 'racism' at the club knowing that this group relies on 'racism' for their very existance. So to the surprise of no one they 'found' what they wanted. The fact that they were not qualified to conduct such an investigation, the fact that they were in no way inpartial, the fact that the accused were never even spoken to in order to give their side was no surprise and seemingly ok with those at the HFC.

I really hope the matter goes to court so that the accused can have their say.

Speaking of miscarriages of justice. How about Haynes. Somehow found guilty based on nothing other than the words of a single person. Found guilty after a judge refused to allow deleted text messages to be admissable despite the texts being from the alleged victim on the day and the day after the alleged assault, with said texts strongly aiding the case of the accused. It seems that in cases of sexual assault etc where the alleged victim is a woman and the alleged offender a male then the man is presumed guilty until he can prove beyound reasonable doubt that he isn't.

By the way, the DPP is considering bringing Haynes' case to court for a 4th time. Unreal.

Re the ABC, they are openly biased and in daily breach of their Charter. They seem to be beyond reform. IMO they should lose all government funding (other than their rural programs) and become a subscriber based service. Ditto SBS.

I like the idea of an All Australian team but i do think it has greater weight if you select players in specialist positions who have played most of their footy in that position. This is true for rebounding defenders, small forwards and wingers etc. I am not a massive fan of selecting 10-12 mids and naming them in positions they either didn't play in, or rarely played in, just to fit them in.

Just on the naming of the All Australian team, and our uber woke AFL just can't help itself. Despite the AFL being an all male competition and therefore all of those selected for the All Australian team being men, the governing body decides to refer to those selected not as men but as people. FFS.
