Rather than building new pipelines across pristine wilderness, weaning ourselves off of oil might be present a better course. I'm a fan of biofuel. E85, 15% gasoline and 85% alcohol is a viable option in the US. For the price of a stimulus check any car could be converted to run on E85. We now pay farmers not to grow corn that could be used to produce the alcohol. Oil companies in the US have the equipment, talent and capital to put this plan in motion.

I’m sure we can all set aside a differences for one moment in public like knowledge that the ability to speak one’s mind and have an honest assessment of our differences is important. With that, anybody else wanna pipe up on the White House’s response to Elon Musk purchasing Twitter? Of course it’s much too soon to tell what an African-American is going to do with a big tech company like Twitter (You know how African-Americans are….).

The White House declined to comment on billionaire Elon Musk's deal on Monday to buy Twitter Inc,

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Are you referring to the time when Trump issued an executive order targeting Section 230 and social media companies in May 2020, as his feud with Twitter escalated. The order, which was meant to bypass Congress and the courts...?

That one?

But the Biden administration has just now created something called “disinformation governance board”—part of DHS.

We have to look at what they do and not just what they say. It is no coincidence that it aligns with the takeover of Twitter.

Biden and the left want to eliminate student loan debt. There has been some backlash. Right now they are considering forgiving up to $10k but previously considered up to $50K.

The inability to include student loan debt in bankruptcy was instituted by George Jr's regime. The declaration includes loans made before that time. Students who took loans prior did not know this would happen.

Student loan payments generally cover only the interest on the debt. When the payments have been made the government will still be on the hook for the remaining debt. In the meantime loan companies are collecting.

Credit scores and therefore buying power of those with these debts is greatly decreased. These people are unable to buy houses, new cars and other items. Releasing them from the debt the government is going to pay anyway should bolster spending and help stimulate the economy.

What do you all think?

Yes... because we really really need to make sure lies and false information proliferate at the same level as the ignorance of the American people.

If we as a nation really want(ed) to be the "best" would would promote the highest level of education, best quality, for everyone >>> FREE.

But that isn't what "we" are about.

"We" want the American people to be stupid and/or in debt... so they are more easily controlled.

The best way to eliminate student debt is for the person who is indebted to pay their debt.

You the student ask for a loan, now you the student pay the loan as you agreed. Economics 101.
