(even now Trump seems fixated on golden showers than our country.)

At this point, even if Manchin suddenly had an epiphany and wanted to join the other 49 in saving our planet, I fear it is too late. We were on a razor thin opportunity here as it was, and, with the increasingly visible consequences rearing their ugly heads everywhere from California to the Gulf, not to mention elsewhere in the world, anything short of a fully implemented road barricade will just get run over by the speeding train.

As Manchin continues to twiddle his thumbs and you guys in the GOP continue to put on the echo-chamber headphones, there is no way the rest of the world is even going to be capable of following along with such a lack of leadership and example from the country most responsible in creating this mess in the first place.

It’s now carbon capture or bust. And if we don’t ever get the technology there, then I just hope my son, who I figure will be alive until around 2100, can still manage to have an enjoyable life on this rock until then.

It wouldn't be so bad that manchin and siena have their own priorities and direction if the gopers would do the same rather than the group-think obstructionism.

Manchin is probably toying with the idea of a run for the White House... trying to attract centrist independents and GOPers who've had it with Trumpism.

It isn't very realistic... and he's getting a bit long in the tooth... but that's what I think he's doing.

It won't work.... Biden and Harris are way ahead of him... and probably a few others...

Either that or Manchin visited the same "Jeffrey Epstein" type that the Republican Senators did to get into office.
