Except the Smackdown games are not from LJN. They were made by someone entirely different. Also the Maximum Carnage song is no longer in ANY of these games. I listened to them all.
I found out that the scene inside the bar in the Street Fighter Alpha anime, the first one, that Sakura no longer kicks these goons asses. I remember seeing this movie a few times and thinking this was the one scene where they did her right, and thinking it strange she falls and cowers completely later. Because I remember the scene having her actually hold her own against these two grown men, and kicking their asses, much to their surprise. I even seem to recall her kicking a glass of some alcohol into one of their faces, and it smashing into it. And then it ended with Ken coming in at the last minute, grinning, and saying "Not half bad." But now she just does a jump kick and trips like a moron in the air, only to have a knife pulled on her until Ken comes to save the day. It no longer makes sense as to why Ken would take her to see Ryu when she get her a** whooped, when it made perfect sense he would take her to see him when she has potential.
I also remember the monster in Little Monsters being played by Christopher Lloyd, but apparently it was Howie Mandel.
Sting from WCW, back when he had his Crow gimmick, I remember had a song that was completely different but still had a monolog, but the music was played with a guitar rather than strings.
Also, I seem to remember finding out that Forsaken from Queen of the Damned was a sort of cover from some lesser known band with lyrics changed to suit the movie, but now I can't find anything on that.
I can't deny the possibility of multiple dimensional prototypes of this existence; especially from what I have experienced in dreams (where I often times find myself listening to artist's albums that never existed *here* )
But a lot of the mysteries are just edits and censorships. Sakura is fifteen years old, isn't she? Maybe the two men in the bar were representing lechers and deemed too heavy for a film that was also being viewed by Westerners.
I remember one of the Wild Arms games had a room filled with failed clone proto's of one of the protagonists. The room didn't exist other than to fill in the story (Think Alien's 3 and the room filled with proto Ripleys). Many years later I could never find that room again only to read somewhere that the room is still there but locked as it was deemed to unsettling for Western gamers.
Also, some assets, like that song in Carnage, may have pulled in later prints by the license holders who could've have a fall out with LJN...similar to Mike Tyson disappearing from Nintendo's Punch Out for many years up until just recently where they've gone and added him back again.
