But that's the math on it based on the original metrics when the whole thing started.
Ahhh, don't worry there is still time to f*** the old people. Some states in the US are preparing to enact the Crisis Standards of Care.
Once that happens most "Regular" hospitals will stop accepting and helping the old people. If they are already in nursing homes, they will get hospice and that's it. No point in transferring to hospital, no ICU attempt and certainly no vents. So the numbers will make the overall percentages go up.
