Trump wants to pull out of the Middle East conflicts. It doesn't seem like a bad thing at first glance. It was a campaign promise. Why not pull out a year ago or two, maybe during his first year in office? Politics.
Leaving without coordinating with NATO would leave their 12K troops in the cold. The region will be adopted by Russia and China who are also swinging their influence around. Of course there's always contractors. Complicated situation. Here's a Blog Post
Trump wants to pull out now to f__k biden and the USA... and NATO as well.
He's pissed and wants to screw the USA and then point his finger at Biden and the evil Dems. His followers would/will swallow it "hook line & sinker".
At this point I think it would kind of funny if his fake election s*** worked and he ended up with 4 years trying to fix the zombie land he's trying to create; embolden terrorists, embolden Russia, embolden China, COVID-19 out of control, cyber security out of control, and the USA at each other's throats building to a civil war... etc....
And Trump the one trick pony with nothing to say but "I'm the best president ever!" while eden burns.
