True, some laws and policies go overboard.
Also, some people want the laws and policies enforced down to literal extremes, rather than the level of intent.

As I said:

The Trump campaign had said in court that it wasn't alleging voting fraud in the cases -- just attempting to enforce the rules.

you know when someone is trying to push you into a major decision quickly. "emergency -- act fast -- we dont have time" its more likely a scam.

Most votes dont get certified and s*** until december. There's time to challenge or recount, if there was actual evidence of wrong doing, all this rush is to get people to part with their money quickly to "support the cause"

besides a major party campaign would have the funds budgeted out for recounts. These pleas for financial help are not going to court cases or recounts but to line the pockets of people behind the scenes.

Trump is not going to reverse the election. There is no chance of this. Here is a related Blog Post . Any election fraud he does uncover (undoubtedly there is some, but favoring whom?) will not be significant enough to alter the results. If if was significant enough he wouldn't be allowed to reveal it anyway.

All hail our lord god risen to save western society/culture, The Donald (Jesus Christ) Trump!

Please, we beg upon thee, save us from the Swamp... the evil that is anything short of populist nationalist love of god and country above all thought.

Lower your expectations but keep hope.

Dogen, from "The Endeavour of the Way".......

I came back to Japan with the vision of spreading the teaching and saving sentient beings — a heavy burden on my shoulders. And yet I have put aside the hope of having the teaching prevail everywhere until the time of surging opportunity. For the time being I wander about like a cloud or a waterweed, and let the wind of the ancient sages be heard

I've often thought that if I wanted to preach I could more effectively do so thinking to myself in a grocery parking lot while waiting on my wife.

Passersby would be more proud of the ideas believing them self-generated.

Not sure just what passersby would think but I agree with the implication that "preaching" should simply be a by-product of looking toward oneself.

Beware the man/woman who thinks they know and looks for recipients of his/her knowledge.

(In fact I would say that virtually all things considered valueable are by-products.........but I'll leave off the Merton inspired mumbo jumbo and retire to the current Mahayana suttra and Pure Land chant)
