Only in 2020...

So I keep hearing this phrase "Only in 2020" in reference to a number of occurrences that keep piling up to make 2020 a year to remember.

Well, apparently I have a short memory and can't remember all of the things that have happened already to make 2020 "So 2020"

Obviously we have the pandemic that has consumed much of the news cycles, and all of the related fallout.
There is the Trump train-wreck and related political/election crap.
Historic wild fires in Australia and now US
US killing Iranian General - leads to retaliation by Iran and accidental downing of passenger plane
Brexit is official


More recently:
Paulette the Zombie tropical storm

Gundam the 60-foot tall robot


What else makes your list of "So 2020"?

Ok - two more:

Ran out of names for hurricanes, so they're using Greek letters

and...

345,000 Used condoms sold as new

COVID-19, Black Lives Matter protests/response, and (in the future) Trump refusing to leave office and the reaction/response.

Those three things will be cemented in history books forever.

BLM (I had to look it up) actually started in 2013.
My first recollection was around the Ferguson riots - 2014

But yes, it has gained a lot of attention this year as well.
