that probably late 30's to 60's comic book's version. with dialog that weren't great to read, as well, storylines were lame and pretty corny. no substance in storyline.

Hey, just read this in a talk bubble. Guy is on the phone to some heroine...... "The situation lady? Try chaos ! " (Comic books emphasis!)

How much better can it get?

back then, dc has think their audience as children, not as adults. so, not familiar with talk bubble or this situation, lady?, chaos ?

dc has been in man's world for long time. dc heroines downgrade so look the weakest sex of man's world's superheroes. from the beginning in 60's, marvel always make both male and females equal or women heroes are powerful. a good example, in the fantastic four, sue reed is the most powerful member of the group. like dc's justice league - superman is the most powerful , then wonder woman.

dc over has improve using more adult content for audience. back in the 60's, more childless storyline, but never try to adult themes.

in 60's, marvel beginning, the first twenty issues of " the amazing spider-man ". it's read like a soap opera, with real problems that peter parker had. the audience reading it, felt that marvel treat as adult. even those kids reading the comic books probably to young understand the adult theme. enough action in the comic book for them enjoy it.

the situation, the lady, or chaos is just regular formula use in a comic book in the 40's to 70's in a man's world.

The Batman I'm reading from has "Marvel" on the cover. Its all about an earthquake in Gotham City, and the scene in question is this guy trying to take in the situation following the quake. That's the context. I tend to transpose and switch contexts. I find explanations and examples from diverse sources illuminate.

I understand how various themes and how they are dealt with can have varied consequences for different age groups. When does a child become an adult? It all gets a bit too complicated for me.

But....... "The situation lady. Try chaos! That really does fit a lot of contexts!

Thanks........I'm taking a look at Spiderman by Stan Lee and it appears a different ball game from the Batman I'm reading.

about 80's, marvel and dc has crossovers with each other.

superman vs spider-man

the hulk vs batman

it was during that both marvel and dc was losing avenues, because comic books were simply not selling. both companies to work together build up their avenues. when graphic comics were slowing coming out.

marvel decided released certain issues of spider-man and the fantastic four. instead, release them a comic book or graphic book version. marvel about a large computer modem size comic book.

during this progress last almost 6-8 months, failed to get an audience.

They all seem to be coming out for eReaders. There are lots available now for my Kindle, but most are pretty expensive. Free samples can be downloaded so able to judge the graphics.
