My original enquiry regarding the state of Donald Trump's mind was slightly tongue in cheek. But nevermind, we in the UK certainly have our own problems with Boris Johnson, affectionately known to his friend (sic) as "Bojo".

Bojo, the man who promised his constituents to "lay down in front of the bulldozers" to stop a third Heathrow runway, who then flew off to Afghanistan to avoid the vote on the issue, which would have obliged him to vote against his own Party and thus lead to being thrown out. At least Covid-19 has rescued him here, Heathrow not even needing one runway at the moment let alone a third.

Once PM, Bojo threw 21 Tories out of his Party for voting against him. Fairs fair, and most were unable to arrange a quick jaunt to Afghanistan. A staunch supporter of UK Democracy Bojo then shut down Parliament (the heart of our Constitution) to avoid scrutiny of his pre-deal Deal with the EU (part of the EU Withdrawal proceedures.) This ruled illegal by the Supreme Court, undaunted - after scrutiny of the Deal by the UK's elected representatives found it unacceptable - Bojo called an Election. His slogan/soundbites of "Get Brexit Done" and "Oven Ready Deal" won the hearts of the nation and a huge 34% of the total electorate gave him a thumping endorsement to proceed.

His "Oven Ready Deal" now cremated, and a No-Deal on the horizon, Bojo stumbles on. Last seen repainting his private jet with the Union Jack and planning a world tour to promote Global Britain and "open Britain up to the world". Strangely his new immigration Laws will do much to exclude many from actually coming here, including those with only "low skills" - yes, the very ones the whole nation has been clapping each and every thursday night during the Pandemic for keeping the country going and off of its knees.

Seriously, I am financially secure. I'm 71 and looking for a quiet life and not really a political animal. I can afford to laugh, but in more reflective moments I could weep.

To Whom It May Concern - Part 2:

Yes. I finished reading all 131 pages of the USA Patriot Act

After I read it, I didn't trust myself so I did numerous word searches.

While reading it and doing the word searches, I was intent on finding anything that could be construed (even remotely) as a mechanism to take control of the U.S. government by anyone (either overly of covertly like a "ghost government).

I found numerous things relating to the following topics:

Enhancing domestic security against terrorism
Enhanced surveillance procedures
Anti-money-laundering to prevent terrorism
Border security
Removing obstacles to investigating terrorism
Victims and families of victims of terrorism
Increased information sharing for critical infrastructure protection
Terrorism criminal law Improved intelligence
Miscellaneous

HOWEVER there were NO mechanisms nor provisions nor any other (choose your own word here) that in any way support the idea that some "ghost government" could take over the USA.

Don't get me wrong. A lot if it is bulls*** and could easily be viewed as "ant-partiotic". Some of it seems (clearly to me) to tread on our Constitutional rights.

None the less, it does NOT have any overt or covert (i.e. hidden) provisions or mechanisms for anyone to set up a "ghost government" to take over the USA.

As a side note: As long as our armed forces remain apolitical and defend our Constitution, "we" have no fear of coup d'etat nor "ghost governments". As long as our Congress defends our Constitution, "we" have no fear of authoritarian rule.

Thank you for your time....

Now... back to the topic of Biden: Apparently Biden has indicated to his team that he will only, if he wins, sit for one term. Makes sense to me... he is getting a bit "long in the tooth".

"Sit" I assume is the operative word.....and even then, very ambitious.
