There was more than just the presidential primary on the ballot.

You guys are really going blind.

Right it was the state judge election in that was going to make a difference as the dude on the ballot was was the final vote in redrawing the vote in Gop favor.

Sad that the same judges that decided to make people vote in person were to f***ing weak and scared to meet in person themselves to decide that decision. They meet “virtually”

Bunch of f***ing evil hypocrites.

So Bernie is out.

Not surprising, IMO. I never thought he had a chance anyway... maybe a chance at the Democratic nomination, but certainly not a chance at the Presidency.

I think his play in history was to start a 3rd party, but he wanted the big seat... hubris. Regardless, as is always the case, we will never know what could have been... C'est la vie.

Maybe he will get re-elected to his seat in the Senate in 2022 (I think that is when he is up again). Or maybe not. Who knows, he might even retire.. after all he is no "spring chicken".

Now the questions are:
> Will Sanders support Biden?
> Will he act like a grumpy old curmudgeon again and help Trump get re-elected?
> What will his supporters do?
> Will they run off and sulk like many did last time?
> Will they vote against Trump?

The speculation begins.

In any case, Auf Wiedersehen Herr Sanders.

Almost felt the Bern but a little witch hazel and sitz bath did the trick. Sorry mr Sanders. I'm sure one of your ideological progeny will wreck our free enterprise system one day.

right now, joe have information how badly bozo handle this virus, enough to start a debate with bozo. bozo give joe come after bozo on a sliver plate.

in sense, joe handle in debate, the weakest link his democrat party failing any democrat for the past decade on longer. the difference joe and hillary in her own race in 2016. she trust her personal and politically team lose the ball for her.

bozo took his best shot at joe's son, didn't stop joe from quitting. bozo realize joe has too much experience in politic too faze him to quit.

Isn't there a rule or law about equal campaign air-time?

Shouldn't Biden be getting reciprocal air-time for the trumpsterf*** daily campaign spew?

If there isn't, there should be. In fact the campaigns should all be financed exclusively by taxpayer money, limited in amount and equally shared between candidates. Possibly using a government channel like cspan to broadcast.

If Biden wins, he'll have all the airtime he needs. Better ask the question if anyone needs hear Biden.

And, the great news here is that Mr Obama is now endorsing Biden.

That should help a little bit or something.

In spite of everything, I would like to see Biden continue to do interviews on television mostly to watch the friendly folks interviewing trying to figure out how to help him.

This from Friday, April 17th.

this week, misouri was thinking about or is probably using absentee voting in november, if the virus continuing for 2020 election.

i would rather absentee voting in mail, instead going to polls every 4 years. no absentee voting on online ever. put your vote in the mail, it is the same thing, you want to vote. you mail it, if you don't vote, don't mail it in.

It would be a grand work of propaganda to get the COVID-19 pandemic to slow down enough to suspend elections in November.

Wouldn't it have to continue at this pace or speed up... in terms of infections and mortality... to suspend the election?

If it slows down people with think all is well and the whole thing was a ruse, and all will go back to "normal". If it maintains present infection/mortality rate, increases or slows down only to have a second wave as big or bigger.... that is when the suspension of elections could come into play.

Anyway: If the election is suspended past inauguration date 2021, based on our Constitution, Trump would cease to be President.

In fact Trump and Pence would both go out of office.

Presidential Succession would kick in... which would likely result in Pelosi becoming President pending an election. Some might argue that her "term" as Speaker of the House runs out at roughly the same time. However, the H.R. could easily just have a vote to keep her as Speaker of the House thus she would remain as such and become President.

Or the H.R. could vote in a new Speaker of the House...AOC...

For Trump (or Pence) to come out on top, Congress would have to agree to a Constitutional Amendment.... etc... etc... which wouldn't happen.

PELOSI 2021!

Actually the entire H.R. would go out of office, so succession would go from the Speaker of the House to the President pro tempore of the Senate >>>Chuck Grassley.
