Joe Rogan

Why is there a lot of hate when it comes to Joe Rogan? He's not the most political guy but is very open-minded. He's known for having open-minded and controversial conversations on his podcast with many people from the left and the right and even the middle. Many people say they hate him like he's a murderer or something. I just don't understand. He's someone who may be more on the middle side, as listening to him, I have seen him say things he agrees with on both sides. He even endorsed Bernie and now I'm hearing that the "Cancel Culture" got him. Why?

As far as the Bernie bros are concerned (and others of the left) his problem is that he is open minded. He thinks for himself. A big no no. If you want to belong (or even hang out) with the so called 'progressive' left your ideology needs to be pure. You can't agree with them on most things, you have to passionately agree with them on EVERYTHING. Being open minded means Joe doesn't do this. One of his great sins for example is that he doesn't believe that males who 'identify' as female should be allowed to compete against females in sporting competitions. This apparently makes him a transphob and therefore evil. Such people need to be silenced (cancelled) or made to publicly beg for forgiveness.

Anyway, I reckon the 'progressive' left must be beside themselves in self righteous disgust and anger now that he has said that given the choice btw Trump (evil personified) and Joe he would probably vote for Trump. To paraphrase the great Greta "how dare he".

Anybody that is open minded, inquisitive and questioning is the enemy of Socialists.
Hell, in some countries they line em up against a wall and shoot em.

We need more people like Rogan. He's a reasonable thinker and is intellectually honest and curious.

I vaguely remember people were annoyed he said something politically they didn’t like.

I also confuse Ron burgandy with Ron Jeremy. So that makes for some confused podcasts topics.

Also I think there is a lot of “trolling” around “Bernie bros”. Like either they say s*** themselves to rule up people for attention or it’s the “other side” impersonating them and saying s*** on line. Something is just hinky about it. Not saying that Bernie doesn’t have supporters, but there is just something off about the Bernie bro. Like a pixie dream dream girl trope. Not really sure it actually exists as presented.
