I suspect actual impeachment will be a shade less heartwarming than the thought of impeachment. Think of the glee Trump's critics felt when hearing the news he announced his candidacy for president and their hopes he were would win the Republican nomination.

The process might feel different than what we expected.

The loyal opposition could peel off a few Trump supporters if they offered an alternative. It has to be someone with a marginally similar view.

The "opposition" is the Democrats and they are not "loyal" to Trump...
