I believe we have taken the first step in developing biotechnology, one of many that will usher in a new era of invention. With biotech, we'd be comparable to the Vorlons of the Babylon 5 universe. Wouldn't that be a fascinating prospect?
interesting, i was about Babylon 5, when you started this topic. not vorlons, are they the aliens, whom in the fog on board. I see watched the whole series, but, I never really like it. I like bruce boxleitner's character in from commander of Babylon 5 to president of earth. they are some characters about a handful of them were somewhat ok to watch every season.
these xenobots were introduced in film like " fantastic voyage " in 60's, it probably more a great film, than Rachel Welch's body selling the movie. not that I was complained about it, when i was a little kid watching the movie.
these xenobots remind me the microbots that star trek's generation introduced in 80's, most likely, scientists give star trek another credit give them ideas to come with in the future to create.
it is cool to think something that go through and small enough inside your stomach and destroy cancer cells or aids. not need a surgery that could kill you on the table. eliminate annual or 6 months check up, that the patient just has to stay home, and doctor could exam you in his office.
