Great shame for Dale Morris

North very impressive with a lazy bag of ten for Brown but I was really surprised at how poor Port were. They were smashed at the contest.

One of the games of the season at the Gabba as Brisbane knocked over Geelong by a point and are now top. What a season it's been for them.

Remarkable turn around in just two years.

Essendon have bounced back to secure a finals place.

Two really big matches tomorrow with Richmond at home to West Coast and the dogs traveling to Sydney.

Hard to believe just how bad West Coast were against Hawthorn. At home and with a double chance of the line they were very poor.

Meanwhile the doggies are into the finals with a lot of momentum. They play GWS in week one and must really fancy their chances in that match.

So week one and Geelong take on the pies, whilst Brissie host the Tigers. In the elimination finals West Coast are at home to Essendon and as mentioned the Giants host Footscray.

Well I was right in saying that St.Kilda, Carlton and Gold Coast were no chance of making the finals, though that was hardly a big call. I was also right to pick Brissie as a big improver (though I didnt come close to predicting just how much they would improve, but who did?). I did however get Adelaide wrong. Their 2nd half of the season was pretty poor. I also got Geelong very wrong. Their recruits over the summer all had a big impact and Gazza has been very good playing predominately in the forward line. I also underestimated Footscray. At the end of round 14 the dogs were 15th but their finish to the season was very strong. The other team I got (very) wrong was Melbourne. Who the hell would have predicted them to finish 2nd last?
