I think I mentioned it before, but barbequing a turkey on a Webber Barbeque ruins turkey... in the best way! It's literally the best thing I've ever had. The bones and skin become a dark mahogany colour and the smoke penetrates every inch of the turkey. The meat falls off the bone and it makes amazing soup afterwards.

I just traded a huge grill with all sorts of bells and whistlers.
My late hubby won it as a door prize a couple of years before he passed.
We used it one time ,when our youngest son signed the adoption papers on 4 siblings he had fostered.
I personally appreciate a good old fashion camp fire for grilling or spit cooking and a pit for roasting and baking.
I traded that monster for my great grand parents wedding picture . they were married in 1863 . I think I Got the better deal.

Been researching your Big Green Egg. Whew, those things are expensive! What size do you have?

Yes. I got lucky and got one at a going out of business sale. There are other brands.

Medium, even on sale the large was way too expensive.

Note to self and all: Use quality meat, fish, poultry, veggies... it really makes a difference.

To the point: Today I grilled some more salmon. This time "farm" salmon. It was good... but nothing like wild Coho salmon... yes, it is more expensive... but just do it... you will not regret the expense.
