Washington State has just passed a bill legalizing Human Composting

Apparently brought forth by the founders of Recompose

An interesting proposition.
From an environmental POV, they claim to save about a metric ton of "carbon savings" per person over traditional burying or cremation.

So soon, instead of just having gran'ma in an urn on the mantel, she could grow your next sunflower, or tomatoes!!

There's also that "mushroom suit" thing that popped up with Luke Perry's death/burial.

Personally, I've leaned towards cremation, but if "recomposing" is really a viable option, I may reconsider.

I bought myself a nice funeral for $2000. What they do with my body I do not know. For all I care I can be cremated and flushed.

I was thinking of a green funeral but for some reason, they are more expensive.

and then, what dreams may come in that sleep of death.
