Looks like Biden’s probably going to win the nomination. In addition to polling ahead of the pack, he is polling ahead of every other candidate in a hypothetical 1 on 1 scenario, ruling out a coalition of progressive voters once the pack gets narrowed down. I think I have to change my prediction back to him over Beto.
Still prefer Beto, though. In reality, they are all pretty much the same. Just some a bit more extreme in areas than others, but I’m happy with any of them, policy wise. So I look at personality, traits of conviction, unwavering leadership, empathy, things like that. Beto has all of that. But unfortunately he is in the single digits now with Biden in the 30s. Almost too far to reach even once Beto’s exposure improves.
