A jaguar attacked a woman at a zoo in Arizona, leaving her with injuries that required medical attention...
...the (woman) crossed over the barrier to get a (selfie) and was attacked by a female jaguar...
"We can promise you nothing will happen to our jaguar," the zoo said. "She's a wild animal and there were proper barriers in place to keep our guests safe -- not a wild animal's fault when barriers are crossed. Still sending prayers to her and her family."
Finally! A zoo that doesn't kill its animals because of stupid human behavior.
Ahh.. but they are hiring consultants to study how they may improve their safety barriers.
I think they should take on the "Scared Straight" approach. - From the '70s where they took students to a jail and let inmates shout and berate them for a few hours to teach them not to be criminals.
But instead, just run continuous tape loops of stupid humans being mauled by wild animals in zoos.
Just put high voltage fences on the spectator side of the barrier that the animals can't reach. One person trying to get in would be all it would take before no one else tries to get in.
What a moron. I mean...what a moron.
