I'm not really convinced of that. You yourself said that the DSM doesn't really limit psychiatrists nor psychologists. Honestly, I feel like if the concern is poor education for 'the next generation of psychologists and psychiatrists', then the problems probably less to do with the state of the DSM and more to do with the quality of the teachers.



I also stated it aids psychiatrists and psychologists when they are doing their jobs and trying help individuals.

Personally I think it should be removed from the DSM. Just like homosexuality was.

The gender one.
The body one is enough to help people. It should stay in.

I spoke with a healthcare worker that is deeply involved in this subject, and they were hopeful that dysphoria would be removed.

Primarily because of the stigmatization with it being "listed"
